Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up from Manado airport, transfer to Tangkoko + late afternoon Tangkoko National Park guided walk (shared).

Your adventure begins with a morning pick up from the airport. Your private driver greets you with a warm smile and ushers you into a comfortable vehicle for the scenic transfer to Tangkoko National Park. Along the way, the road winds past coastal villages and lush hillsides, offering glimpses of North Sulawesi’s vibrant daily life.

After about an hour, you arrive at your lodge, steps away from Tangkoko National Park—an ecological jewel famed for its rare and enchanting wildlife.

This afternoon, you set off on foot with an expert local guide. The forest trail is alive with sound: the rustle of leaves, the calls of exotic birds, and the distant chatter of macaques. As the light softens, anticipation builds—this is the prime time to spot the park’s most famous residents, the tiny nocturnal tarsiers. Watching them emerge from their tree hollows, with their enormous eyes and delicate movements, is nothing short of magical.

But the tarsiers are just the beginning. Along the walk, you may encounter black-crested macaques, and perhaps even the elusive cuscus nestled in the canopy. Every step reveals another layer of the forest’s secrets, making the experience feel like a living documentary unfolding before your eyes.
