Day 2: Cooking class and a Siam Niramit Phuket Dinner Show
Elevate your culinary skills with the Blue Elephant Thai Cooking Class in Phuket, held within a stunning century-old Sino-Portuguese Governor’s Mansion that radiates history and elegance. Your journey begins at the Blue Elephant Bar, where a refreshing herbal drink sets the tone before you join a seasoned chef for a guided stroll through the bustling Phuket Town morning market. As you wander past vibrant stalls brimming with fresh herbs, aromatic spices, and exotic produce, you’ll gain insight into local shopping habits and the rich traditions behind Thai cuisine.
Returning to the cooking school, you’re greeted with cool towels and another herbal refreshment before diving into your four-course menu. A theory session and live demonstration lay the foundation for the hands-on experience, where you’ll prepare four authentic Thai dishes at your own cooking station under expert supervision.
