The glass bridge is the main attraction, but the secret is the path that leads down into the canyon below. The view of the bridge from the bottom, looking up at the mist and the cliffs, is even more impressive than walking across it.
Did you know that Zhangjiajie National Forest Park inspired the floating mountains in the 2009 film Avatar, with the Hallelujah Mountain being the most famous pinnacle in the park? The park is home to over 3,000 sandstone pillars, some towering over 200 meters above the valley floor.
